TAK Living is a modern African furniture and lifestyle design brand built around functional beauty, modular thinking, and everyday usefulness.
We explore how simple materials — metal, wood, concrete, fabric, and leather — can be shaped into meaningful home objects that solve real space problems while carrying a strong visual identity.
Bold by Design
Every piece has a recognizable form and a reason to exist.
Modular Thinking
Objects that transform, adapt, and serve multiple lives.
Built to Last
Skilled local fundis. Premium materials. No shortcuts.
Made in Africa
Nairobi-born. Global in vision. Local in soul.
Dark walnut timber top with aged bronze wave base. Rich, moody, architectural.
The Waves
Table.
The base is a continuous wave — five parallel arcs of aged bronze-finished metal, flowing in perfect rhythm. Not symmetrical. Sculptural. It carries the weight above and transforms any room around it.

Modular
Bench.
Built around the hexagon — the strongest form in nature. The bench separates into two units: a padded seat and a storage stool. Use them together or apart.
5 Ways to Use It
01Bench Seat
Seat 2 comfortably with the leather pad on top.
02Storage Unit
Remove the pad. The open hex cavity stores shoes, books, or blankets.
03Side Table
Flip the separate stool unit and use it as a surface beside your sofa.
04Shoe Rack
The open compartment fits 4–5 pairs perfectly at an entryway.
05Centrepiece
The hexagonal form is a sculpture. Let it live anywhere and own the room.

Built In
Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪
Built in Africa.
Refined
for the World.
The core design language is inspired by the hexagon — used as a structural and symbolic backbone representing strength, balance, protection, modularity, and connection.
Every product should feel sculptural but useful, bold but home-friendly, premium but locally buildable. The designs should be easy enough for a skilled local fundi to build, but refined enough to feel like a premium design brand.
TAK Living celebrates local craftsmanship while pushing it into a more modern, productized, design-led direction.
